Fighting for Life & Liberty

Posted on January 2, 2022

Having volunteered my time as a board member of a crisis pregnancy center, I saw firststand how fear can overtake an expectant mother.  And I have also seen the beauty of life when a child is born.  As we focus on saving the unborn, we need not to forget the life of the mother and the pursuit of inner healing and support.

For spiritual and scientific reasons, I believe that life begins at conception.  At this significant juncture in time, it’s imperative that America stands on the right side of history by continuing the fight to protect the sanctity of life.

During the inception of this great nation, there were critics who believed the broad American public was not up to task to govern themselves.  The elites thought it best to rule over the majority.  However, Thomas Jefferson felt that same public was the “salvation of liberty, the soul of the nation, and the hope of the republic”.

The pandemic has tested the limits of how much power government can have over its citizens.  The system of checks and balances, and the legislative process of government has given way to unconstiutional mandates, executive orders, and emergency powers.  Our founders believed that laws should not be passed unless they are specifically designed to protect the freedom, liberty, and well-being of the people.

As your next Congressman, I will work to ensure that your God-given rights to live free will not be infringed.

Our schools have been a subject of much debate lately.  Parents have the right to be involved in their children’s education.  I will advocate for transparency around curriculum, oppose Critical Race Theory, and advocate for safety in our schools.  Parental involvement in what our children are learning greatly matters to me.
